Fried Mustard Chicken Recipe

(Taiwanese Recipe)

Ingredients: Serves 2

1 tablespoon yellow mustard paste

1 chicken breast

1 scallion

2 slices ginger

1 egg

3 pips garlic, peeled

cup sweet potato powder


1 teaspoon salt

teaspoon wine

teaspoon sugar

a pinch of pepper powder


Clean chicken breast and cut into small bite-size pieces.  Drain off the water and put in a container.  Add in slapped scallion, ginger, garlic, beat egg and seasonings to mix well.  Marinade for 30 minutes.  Heat oil until 60-70% heat.  Put chicken to fry until golden brown.  Drain and serve immediately.
