Beef Stomach with Barbecue Sauce Recipe

(Taiwanese Recipe)

Ingredients: Serves 4

stewed beef stomach

3 king oyster mushrooms

chopped scallions as needed

Seasonings:

1 teaspoon minced garlic

3 tablespoons barbecue sauce

1 tablespoon soy sauce

teaspoon sugar

Method:

Cut stewed beef stomach into thick strips, mushroom cut into slices, mix well with all seasonings and remove to a deep bowl.  Steam in a rice cooker or steamer for 30 minutes until done.  Remove and garnish with a little scallions.  Serve.  Add a little chili red oil if desired, however do not add chili bean paste, which will affect the flavor of the barbecue sauce.  If desired, line bottom of plate with greens and season with the liquid from steaming the stomach.
