Sautéed Beef Fillet in Black Pepper Recipe |
Ingredients: |
160 g beef tenderloin, cubed Salt to taste Pepper to taste ½ teaspoon sesame oil 2 cloves garlic, sliced 110 g honey beans (sugar snap peas) 1 tablespoon cornstarch ½ teaspoon black pepper sauce Black pepper sauce: ½ teaspoon minced garlic 1 teaspoon black pepper powder ½ teaspoon seafood sauce ½ teaspoon soy sauce 1 teaspoon sugar |
Method: Mix beef with salt, pepper and sesame oil. Set aside to marinade for an hour. Heat some oil in a wok and deep fry the garlic slices until golden brown. Blanch the honey beans in boiling water for 1 minute. Drain and set aside. Heat a little oil in a wok and pan-fry the beef for 2 minutes; remove from heat and set aside. Again, heat a little oil in a wok, add the minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant. Add in the rest of the black pepper sauce ingredients and mix well. Add the beef into the wok and stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in the deep-fried garlic slices and honey beans. Dish out and serve immediately. |
