Fluffy Paper-Wrapped Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

5 egg yolks

5 egg whites

50g butter

60ml milk

100g sugar

70g plain flour

salt

 

Method:

Preheat oven to 180°C.  Line a baking muffin mould with a sheet of baking paper.  Melt butter and mix with milk until well.  Sieve in flour.  Beat the batter with an electric mixer.  Add egg yolks and beat well.  Set aside.  Beat egg whites and salt in a separate bowl.  Add sugar and beat until stiff.  Pour the egg white mixture into the egg yolk batter.  Fold in the mixture gently and mix well with a plastic spatula.  Pour batter into muffin mould.  Bake for 20-25 minutes.  Serve.
